How is a done-for-you newsletter service different from a template service?
A template service gives you a layout and a list of topics. You still write every word. Our done-for-you newsletter service means we research the stories, draft the copy in your voice, design the edition, and send it to your list. Your job is a 15-minute review before it goes out. If you've tried a template service before and found yourself staring at a blank Google Doc on Tuesday morning, that's the gap we fill.
Do I need to provide content?
No. We source everything from your industry's primary publications — regulatory bodies, trade associations, journals, and government guidance specific to your niche. If you do have existing content (a podcast, YouTube channel, or blog), we pull from that too. But it's never a requirement. Most of our clients have no content production infrastructure at all.
How long does setup take?
Most firms go from brief to first draft in under seven days. Setup involves a 5-minute async brief you fill out once — no call required. We connect to your ESP (Mailchimp, Beehiiv, ConvertKit, Klaviyo, or another platform), build your voice profile from the brief and any sample writing you share, and deliver your first draft the following Wednesday.
What happens after the 4 free editions?
After four free editions, billing starts at $297 per month, month to month. There is no annual contract. Cancel with 30 days notice. The free editions exist because we believe the work should demonstrate its value before you spend a dollar. Four weeks of open rates, replies, and client feedback is enough to know whether it's working.
Can I review every edition before send?
Yes. Every edition goes to you for approval before it ships. You get the draft Wednesday morning with an editor's note explaining what we covered and why. Review it, send one round of notes if needed — we revise within 24 hours — then approve. We send from your ESP on your normal schedule. You never click send on anything you haven't read.
Do you handle deliverability and the ESP?
Yes. ESP setup is included — we connect to whichever platform you use and handle authentication. We monitor SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to maintain inbox placement. We run list hygiene on bounces and unsubscribes. Deliverability issues are our problem to solve, not yours to diagnose.
What if I want to pivot my industry mid-engagement?
Email us. If you serve multiple industries or your firm's focus shifts, we update the source monitoring list and rebuild the content brief. Most pivots are handled within one edition cycle.
